The 4-colours model describes a person’s basic drivers and explains why we act as we do in various situa- tions. Multiple human typology research has found that characteristics of behaviour can be grouped intofour major ‘personality styles’.
All individuals possess all four, but what differs from one to another is theextent of each. Understanding the model and our own personal preferences enhance our self-insight and increases our opportunities of functioning well with others. Enhanced self-insight also leads to enhanced insight in others.
This insight is valuable in everyday situations, both in work-related contexts and in our personal relationships.
